Recently, Hunter Hackett, the publicist who sent me the wonderful book The Broken Circle, asked me if I would be interested in featuring interviews from the La Jolla Writers Conference on my blog.

When professional writers offer you free quality content for your blog, the correct answer is “Yes.” I see it as an incredible opportunity to learn from the best and I hope you do as well.

The most recent LJWC interview is with William Gladstone, a successful published author and literary agent. His most recent work is The Power of Twelve, a science fiction novel about the nature of existence with allusions to the Mayan cycle. You can click through to read Gladstone’s interview about writing and the publishing industry, with LJWC Director Jared Kuritz on the LJWC blog.

Just for fun, I thought I would share the first two paragraphs of The Power of Twelve.

Hope you enjoy this new feature series! Have a wonderful weekend!
