Cutting Edge Hotel Organization

We ended up staying overnight at our Baltimore-area hotel after the corporate holiday party.  There were some clever organizing tricks to pass along.

This hotel was more upscale that what we usually stay in.  The sleeping area had modern décor with striking white bedspreads with a black border design. The headboards were tufted and there was a generous four pillows to relax with on each bed.

The room included art too!  Not just art and photographs on the walls but a sculpture too!

The bathroom was quite spacious for a hotel bathroom.  There was a large vanity with a square sink.

The bathtub/shower combination had a niche in the back for the towel bar, which was a luxurious treat.

The shower fixtures were all square-edged and in bright chrome. The shower sprayer was on a long adjustable-height column.

The toilet was set apart in its own closet behind an opaque glass door and the door to the bathroom itself was in the same glass.  The glass really added to the feeling of spaciousness.

Last but not least, the garbage can had an insert in it to sort trash from recyclables.  It was a super-simple but very clever design.  Hope we start seeing these all over the place.
